the MPC software.....and I travel alot...didn't need an audio interface..and tried to avoid buying an MPC studio

maybe you should 3D print a new casing now that would be pretty crazy :mrgreen:

Looks like you just removed the bottom half of the Ren.

I recently traveled with the Ren and Studio. The Ren is pretty light as is. And of course, you can use any audio interface to include the built in audio driver that ships with your PC or Mac if you choose to (with varying results).

I'm wondering the same thing as OP guys. I cut my Renaissance in half and welded the top half to a beat thang. I'm controlling it from a programmable calculator mounted to a dirty couch in my driveway. Does anyone have experience with this shit?
