Not sure but in NorCal I knew tons of Irish, British and Aussies and it seemed like 1-2 years was pretty common. It was like 3 years before my one friend had to marry my homie to stay.

haha yeh thats chill, please dont take this the wrong way (AT ALL!) on our TV over here, they tend to portray Americans as kind of over the top serious / strung out, but from what i have heard from Peoples personal experiences (and gathered from site), ya'll are the FRIENDLIEST folk out

Yeah it's nothing like what is portrayed. Although the perimeter states and coastal sates are the most down to earth. The bulk of "middle America" is in fact rather ignorant, closed and living in the past.

But any hip hop head or creative type that can get to a mid to large sized city will have a blast here. Especially in larger metro areas in Cali as folks from all over the country and world are all chillin' together.
