Playing synth into MPC 1000

Apologies if this info is already on the forum but I've searched and I can't find it. I have a Waldorf Blofeld hooked up to my MPC 1000 and I'm playing it using the pads on the MPC. I was wondering if it's possible for me to monitor what I'm playing by routing the synth straight into the MPC audio in? Instead of hooking everything up to a mixer. I'm running JJOSXL and I've looked but I haven't found this in the manual.
