fits Mutec ADO 8xout in a XL

hallo all

i bay a S2000 with a Mutec ADO 8xout and an EB-16 in ebay know i gut a question..

can i user the 8 outs for my XL or is it onley for the S2000 ?

No it doesn't fit. You need to cut the plate to make it fit.

Some users use a 34 pin floppy drive cable to extend the data cable instead of replacing the one on board.

ok the mod in my XL is finished ... bud the Mutec ADO 8xout don´t work in the xl ... the mpc freeze wen i switch them on.

The issue could be a number of things.

Please post pictures of how the 8-outs are connected/installed inside your MPC.

its wars all install like in in the tutorial ...with a little extra modification to support the board;) i think the problem is that i user a Mutec ADO not the akai IB board. and i forget to say the mpc smelled of hot wire when I opened it again.

i tuck the floppy drive cable frome S2000 ..

ok take the Mutec ADO II from my classic and all works fine...
