It was on OS2XL MPC 1000 and it is great to see back.I do not know about the 2K5.

Well I guess it's too late now. OS3 is out.

JJ is often reluctant to fix remaining bugs on OS2XL so adding features seems unlikely to happen.

Yeah but since this feature is available on JJOS2XL and OS3, maybe it is not too complicated to add it to JJOS-XL, i don't know. It's not really a new feature, it is just missing from JJOS-XL.

So I got the kind of answer we could expected.

At first when he tried to implement this function for the mpc2500 version of OS3 it was bugging. Until now he didn't know why but he finally found out.

Problem is he would have to "go deep" to fix it on OS-XL. Doing this would create lots of bugs. That's why he doesn't want to do it.

OS2XL and OS-XL are improved version based on OS1 code. New bugs can happen too easily.

Still according to him, OS3 is based on a fresh code with which bugs happen less easily. That's why he managed to implement EQL and EQH in OS3 quickly.

To sum up, that's the classical answer :

It would create other bugs so it is unlikely to happen, JJ working on OS3/128XL.
