MPC 2kXL crashes when load MID from Ableton/Mac OSX

Hallo everbody,
i now have a MPC 2000XL and i love it and i want to make all my trax playable on my MPC for livperformances.

Therefore i export my single sequences/tracks vom MAC OSX 10.6.8/Ableton LIve as a Standart Midifile (MID)
- when i want to load them into my MPC - the MPC crashes!!

I´ve read, that the MAC writes something into the midifile that the MPC (MS-Dos) can not read!!??

Is there a solution for this ??

In OS X you can launch Terminal from your Applications folder and type a command line to make the OS show hidden files.

But on a single MIDI file as opposed to hidden files in a PGM folder, it's maybe striping some conflicting header in the MIDI file itself. I dual boot a Mac so I just do all my files for MPC loading in Windows to avoid any and all issues.

So if it is some kind of bad/incompatible header/strip in the file I have no idea how you would fix or avoid that.

Upload the MIDI file if you want I could at least try it in my XL and see if I get a crash too.

Maybe an answer or at least some info is buried on this site somewhere, certainly OS X/MPC file issues have come up here in the past.
