if not it couldnt be considered 1.4 more like true 1.0 or 2.0 but even then you would expect the same software to open the previous files of older versions

I think some reported having some stuff not load after one of the updates, I remember seeing a few posts here.

Certainly you expect it to not be an issue, but a beta tester with 1.4 in their possession right now can't really answer a question like that prior to release, although could maybe "hint" that it doesn't seem to be an issue.

It does happen unfortunately with software sometimes, I've had issues with that on Ableton updates in the past. But overall it's a pretty rare occurrence for that to happen.

My favorite arrangement I put together on New Year's eve in V1.2 will not load correctly in V1.3. I quit using the REN in Feb and am waiting for the 64bit version.

Sadly, I visit this forum every day only to be see that V1.4 has not been released.

At least I get an email notification from Cakewalk regarding Sonar X2 version updates.
