I would like to press a pad (hi-hat) and have it trigger repeatedly at a particular rate, however when I press a different pad, the sound triggers at a faster / slower rate.

Is it possible to assign note repeate values per pad? Looking to basically copy the same (or different for that mater) sound to different pads, trigger them with different note repeat values just by pressing the pad?

I am somewhat familiar with the shift > note repeat and press the different function keys, method. Howver I could have sworn there was an easier way to do this.

Also can you do note repeat value change via Qlink?

I have a MPC2500 with the free JJOS (basically the Akai OS)

the new OS 3 allows you to set note repeat values per pad.
