new to the board, very thankful that there is such a thing.
i finally got a midi keyboard, and was wondering how do i hook it up
to my mpc 2000(regular) so i can play the bass sound at different notes on
each key.

I guess that you will have to create a program with 64 bassnotes each note tuned to a different note. Then connect the midi out of your controller keyboard to the midi in of your mpc.

whats up? not sure if you can load up a sample and play it all on different notes from your keyboard, but to hook a midi keyboard up

keyboard midi out -> mpc midi in
mpc midi out -> keyboard midi in
