I seem to have a problem, if i for example lay out a drum pattern like. kick snare kick snare etc. the first snare will always go offbeat, try'd every Quantization.
Im on the free version of jjos 1.
But if i go with akai mpc1000's latest os i don't get this problem.. but that one sucks in my oppinion.
So i think the problem is in the Quantization coding.

The quantisation isn't off, its your playing. Quantisation is simply nudging the sound to the nearest position on the grid. So the fact is that the snare is offbeat means you're playing it too soon or too late.

dont try to grade me in this. i've been using mpc's for years i know the basic's in rhytm.
I even try'd to use the Grid option and putting the snare in various places. still OFFBEAT.

wow, no. enough people use this OS that if something this obvious was wrong, it would have been detected earlier. this is user error, no matter how much confidence you have in your own ability. humble up and figure out what you are doing wrong. btw there is no free version of jjos1.
