So here's my little workaround for renaissance quality time stretching/pitch shifting on our 2500/1000's.
1. Download the renaissance software demo.
2. hook up 2500/1000 in and out of pc via s/pdif through audio interface.
3. Play audio that needs to be processed on 2500/1000 and sample into the Ren software through s/pdif in.
5. Time stretch/Pitch shift etc.
6. Re sample into the 2500/1000 via s/pdif.
The demo is free but will start making bursts of noise after awhile, if you work quickly this wont be a problem. If you take longer you just have to time your re sampling efforts in between the bursts of noise.
Why all the effort? Because the time stretch/pitch shift on the renaissance sounds really good to my ears. And the radius engine is not readily available on PC unless you use Pro tools/Sonar.
You could do this process with the analog in/outs as well, but digital saves you the degradation.
