I want an SP 1200 but damn!!

Anyway, I relieved him of his SP1200 Final Edition which is in good shape, faders are a bit stiff but otherwise it's all good. Even got the signed letter from E-mu that accompanied all the 125 Final Edition machines. This one was advertised for £900 without any pics or mention of 'Final Edition', but I didnt know it was James until he replied to my email. So two SP1200's in 2 days for less than £2000, not bad at all.

So right now I have 3 SP1200's, the 87 OG Grey, a 94 reissue, and a 98 Final Edition, I'd say that is a clean sweep. Also have a nice SP12 Turbo. At least one of these ladies has to go so I've put the feelers out on the grey SP1200. What a decision to have to make...

I was sad to see her go, but needs must. Money will go towards the rent on a new property for when I'm off my tag. I still have my 60 once I get that fuse issue sorted, so I'm happy chap. I'll contact that guy later today to see what he says. Was good meeting you Clint. A very down to earth guy.

Nah bro those are S900/950's.

Im talking about the two SP's, one is the OG grey and one is a black reissue. But the writing on the back doesnt agree with convention. Otherwise you can see all the differences between the original and some reissues (screen colour, red fuse, power switch/button, thin or fat faders and the casing colour). I thought the grey one would just have "SP1200" on the back, not "E-mu Systems SP1200".

Mine is OG grey and also has "E-mu Systems SP1200" on the back. Always wondered about that. Must have been one of the later grey models in the product line.
