a combination bug report / request. sent to JJ.
i have found some strange behavior in the EFFECT screen.
1. go to EFFECT screen ( MODE + pad 12 ).
2. the F2 button shows no function, but if you press it, it acts as if the WINDOW button was pressed ( it changes the view ).
once you have pressed the F2 to change the view, the F2 button now becomes MASTER, & F6 is now CLOSE.
this is confusing because the behavior of the button has moved from F2 to F6.
REQUEST:
in the main EFFECT screen, make F2 a function called VIEW.
( it performs the same function as pressing the WINDOW button ).
in the second EFFECT screen, make F2 also VIEW, and move the MASTER function to F5.
so in the main EFFECT screen:
F1=BYPASS, F2=VIEW, F4=PadMIXR, F5=TrMIXR, F6=PGM
in the second EFFECT screen:
F2=VIEW, F3=FX1, F4=FX2, F5=MASTER
now, the function of F2 is same in both screens.
also, the MASTER function is located to the right at F5, same as previous OS's.
also, the WINDOW key does not need to be used ( F2 now performs this function ).
