It depends on the sound card you choose to use with the MPC Studio. Yes, if you buy the right sound card/audio interface. Depending on your interface, you may not need a mixer.

In direct answer to your question, which didn't mention an audio interface, the answer is NO. You would need to spend additional funds on a suitable audio interface to sample into the MPC Studio, unlike a true MPC sampler.

The Renaissance includes an interface, though. It has Mic / Line combo inputs and a cinch input for using either line or phono level. Check out the specs to see whether that device suits you better.

If you have a decent audio interface, the Studio is a great box. Beautiful to look at, and a joy to use. Maschine is more powerful, but I like the "feel" of the Studio.

Like a fader controller for your DAW or an actual analog USB mixer? :hmmm:

can you show the usb mixer you're talking about :hmmm:

if you had analog mixer and interface with outputs you could route studio to mixer by assigning corresponding tracks in your DAW to the outputs on the interface and run it thru the analog mixer then bounce back as stereo pair.

all in all studio was intended to use in conjunction with a computer so you'd probably want to do your EQing and mixing within your DAW of choice. Ren has physical outputs that you could run thru a mixer
