It may be necessary to rescan your plugins.
1. Launch 64 Bit MPC software. Rescan your plugins
2. Launch 32 Bit MPC software. Rescan your plugins

It may not be necessary...but you can also open the RTAS/VST/AU MPC plugins and rescan your plugins.

MPC is now crashing as it attempts to rescan my plugins... It's been crashing when it sees Motu's BPM, and the UVI Workstation and random others

I would make sure that my 32 bit plugins are in one folder and 64 bit plugins in another folder. Then when re-scanning plugins, only check the folder with the 32 bit plugins when using the MPC 32 bit plugin. Then do the same for 64 bit.
