Not too bad on the bug list front... I'm liking where this is going :)
I haven't found anything yet but I'm just about to really dig in.

First bug report, but a fairly insignificant one.

If a track is set to "none" for a program and you change the velocity of the notes, the color doesn't change and also if you then select a program for that track all velocity changes that you made are lost. So in other words, you can't change velocity while you have "none" selected as the program.

You might ask, why this is important? Well because of my Marker track. I make a marker track with a bunch of MIDI notes then change velocity to change the color and mark off sections. I thought it would be nice to have it assigned to "none" as the program but instead I still need a dummy program for the marker track.

I guess this could be by design too as a way of storing MIDI data without the chance it could get altered easily.

Not a big deal but let me know if you need further explanation.

I see this thread becoming like the previous ones. I think it would be a good idea if forum members create a seperate thread if they think they have found a bug. Then others members can help trouble shoot or confirm the bug. Once a bug is confirned...then it can be reported here.

My two cents.

Assign 16 Levels (Decay) not working properly.

16 Levels: Type (Decay) still triggers the same Decay level for all 16 pads.
1. Load a sound. For example a dusty hi hat
2.Press 16 Level button
3.Assign the pad with the sound.
4. Select Type: Decay
5.Press F5
6.Press the pads and the all the pads trigger the same decay.

In Program Edit Mode, what type of Envelope are you using for the Pad? And do you have Decay set to 0? This will have an impact on 16 Level Decay.

This issue has been addressed. What are you seeing exactly?

There should be "?" on volume and pan of the MPC's mixer. If you don't move these parameters/knobs, your plugin will stay at its default volume/pan.

Can you post a video of this issue?

Hey Jah that's the work around with the sound copied to multiple pads and each Decay set to a different setting.

The 16 Levels Decay should work without having to change the decay in program mode. The 16 Levels (Attack) function works without having to make any changes to the attack in program mode. The attack changes with each pad.

MPC 3000 16 Level Decay is set where pad 1 decay is the very short decay of the sample triggered. Pad 16 is the Decay set to what would be 0 where the sample plays throughout.

Here's a MPC 3000 audio sample with 16 Level decay turned on for a snare with a hihat on the tail. I pressed each pad starting with Pad1 you will hear the subtle changes to decay from Pad1 and Pad16

This is what I see,....

In the MPC 3000, when 16 Level Decay is turned on, it overrides the program params. You will here the subtle changes as you strike Pad A01 to A16.

In the Ren, if you set Decay Type to 'Start' it will behave exactly like the MPC 3000. If the Decay Type is set to 'End' than 16 Level Decay doesn't work and the program params do impact the pad.

The Ren's pads to 'Start' and see if this solves your problem. I will file a bug report for 'End' behavior.

I still got that BPM/Tempo Issue so when I Load an old MPC2000XL File (APS & ALL) then it still loads into my Ren with 120 BPM. Every from my old 2000XL Beats (about 300 different) doesnt load right into my Ren. Akai said that they would fix this issue in Version 1.3.1 an after I instaled this Version its still git htis Bug. I've been waited for about 4 Months for the Version 1.4 just to proof if they fixed it now.
All in All they didnt fix this Bug, its still there and after 4 Months I'm getting f****d upped Mad and I'm very dissapointed from the Akai Costumer Service because everytime i write an Email they only say that the File is broken or something like that. But thats not true the Files are totaly in order!!

What should i Do now? Should I Hope for Version 1.5 that they will fix this? Or am I totaly Alone and now I'm f****d?
