1.3.1 did address issues with older Ren projects loading with the wrong tempo. I loaded an MPC 3000 Sequence file that loaded with the correct tempo.

Can you send me your MPC 2000XL APS and ALL file for me to take a look at? See your PM for my email address.

3.Assign the pad with the sound.

Works only herer if i set the Envelope to AD Start.
AD End is not working herer either.

Is there a way launch the REN in 32bit in 1.4? Cause i have the problems with my wave-plugins (AudioUnits) too.

'As well' won't hurt, but definitely not instead. A few of us are able to submit these bugs directly ourselves, and it's good to have these issues listed on an independent community site.

Hence I would rather you don't just post a link to your bugs reports on a different site (where the post you link to may not be there at a later date) - please paste your entire list directly here at MPC-Forums as well. Cheers!

I was havi g some problems with some of my older XL tracks too. But I don't have the bpm issue anymore. I found that the ren software was not liking some of the sample names. Maybe too long? I don't know but I found by changing the sample name the ren accepted the sample. I'll be home today working on a track. If you want to pm one of your tracks you are having prob with I can help trouble shoot with you. I wouldn't mind the time spent cause it will be playing with our 2000xl's again. Holler..

Percentage volume does not work over 100%..it does under 100%
It worked on 1.3.1..

I cant erase midi notes, lets say i make a sequance and played with my midi keyboard, then i press erase and press the keys from my midi keyboard that data doesnt show, so i cant delete it, i can only erase data what was played on the pads, i hope i expainded good enough..

Try this:

1. While the sequencer is playing, hold down the [ERASE] button and one or more keys on your keyboard. Does the notes erase?

2. Stop the sequencer. Press the [Erase] button. Press keys on your keyboard. Does the note numbers of the keys display on the MPC Ren/Studio LCD?

ISSUE: BUG CAUSED WHEN SETTING shortcut FOLDER 1, FOLDER 2, FOLDER 3, ETC. - PERMANENTLY STUCK ON FOLDER 5

SCENARIO: My goal was to utilize the (SHIFT + FOLDER #) (SET) (DO IT) command in order to create a bookmark, or a shortcut, to a sample file location in my mac pro. After assigning folder 1 & folder 2, it is stuck on folder 3. Pressing "SHIFT" + FOLDER 4 (or any other folder) won't let me goto any folder. On the hardware screen, folder 3 is highlighted permanently. On my MAC (using a mouse now), it permanently highlights all the folders I click as well, and cannot access any other folders. Browsing is stuck on one folder:

(Notice how all the folders are highlighted, but I can't access them anymore individually. (SHIFT + FOLDER #) won't goto that folder anymore, it's just stuck. And are they all supposed to be highlighted at once?)

after restart of the program & rebooting of the hardware: only folder 5 is highlighted, and cannot change to any other folders by the (SHIFT + FOLDER #) command:


On a sidenote, if the folder shortcuts are assignable, a 'deselect' click should be available. But either way, I can't figure out any way to deselect the folder nor goto a different folder I assigned as a shortcut.

SOLUTION: It is encourage to set Folder 1 - 5 to different file locations. I selected all 5 folders to be linked to the exact same file location. This was just confusing. Perhaps not a bug.

AKAI MPC STUDIO

ISSUE: MPC STUDIO (Q-KNOBS) MIDI SIGNAL GETS EMPOWERED BY THE MOUSE.

SCENARIO: I used the mouse to click and trim the sample clip. Afterwards, the MPC STUDIO Q-LINK does respond, however NOT according to what it should be adjusting.


BACKGROUND:
(after using the mouse to trim the start)
a. SCROLL knob was utilized to move over to the "End:37799" adjustment.
b. The very 1st Q-LINK knob was turned to adjust the end.
c. The very 1st Q-LINK knob would only adjust the "Start:5996", which is what I clicked with my mouse prior.


In fact, all the Q-Link scroll knobs become a muppet of whatever the mouse clicked before. Am I using the scroll knobs incorrectly? or is this a bug? The Q-Link knobs were not set so that it becomes touch sensitive. I am just using it to scroll & change the value of the start / end.



SOLUTION: this is just probably me using the q-link for the wrong thing. looks like I'm suppose to use the up, down, left, right arrows and the large scroll knob on top to navigate and adjust the values. But I'll just leave it up here just in case.
