....if you have a studio somewhere...
where you connect everthing for eternity......and you're sure you never gonna move that whole thing.....i would go for the 4000....with it's weight of over 10 kilos, it's size of a coffetable and it's shape that does'nt fit in anywhere but custom cases....
no matter if it might need some service someday.....you never know.....my old 2000 needed one new pad sensor, three new buttons and one new screen in almost twenty years and still works fine......
but under any other circumstances, the 1000 never gonna let you down and gives you so many options.....there is nothing you could'nt do with it....
apart from decent final mixing and mastering almost all mpc's can be a satisfiing daw substitute full on....
and with the 1000 you get all that options for the best price....
