Installed v1.4 clicked through on everything

Now missing all the MPC Plug-ins - any ideas?

- I have a Retina Mac Pro, everything looks 64-Bit
- I've re scanned the VST's - numerous times
- Checked the location \\Library\Audio\Plug-ins\VST which looks right
- Haven't really changed any settings from the original install which was only a month or so ago

Any suggestions/help from the hive mind greatly appreciated

Did you make sure you were loading the 32-bit version. Yesterday I kept wondering why my plug-ins were missing then I read the installer instructions in the update zip
and it said how to load the 32-bit version. I have to assume that when you update the 64 bit version becomes the standard

Hope this helped

Thanks for that but for Mac seems there is just close MPC software, run install in the .pdf in the download file

I've run the install again and checked the options - didn't need to change anything

Guess I need to contact Akai Support

This is looking like one of the most frequently reported issue. When you guys installed the software, there was a pop-up the detailed how to run 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

lol..nahhh..is a different issue where the installer is putting the stock mpc plug ins in an unaccessible folder not the aftermarket plug ins 32 64 bit fiasco..it's a corrupted installer shimdig das goin around..the mpc update is putting the the 809 the wub the noise and the bank in a folder that the mpc can't access das the one in talking about...

Fixed it, and now that I have maybe wasn't being too clever in the first place.

Essentially for a Mac (don't know about Windows) the installer when run from the MPC software doesn't install the 64bit plug-ins

I needed to go to the Download folder and double click the .pkg file for each one

All good now though - and after weeks of deciding what to buy....Maschine v Tempest v DAW & Soundcard etc. etc. etc.

There is only one Renaissance and it is now.
