MPC60 - Screen died... :(

Turned on my MPC60 today to find the screen displays just one vertical line and the rest of the screen is blank.

I searched around a little, MPCstuff has them for 290 bucks (yikes) but is out of stock, found nothing on ebay...

How is the situation these days? Are replacement screens available somewhere?

MPC60 and MPC60II screens are a different size so which is it?

I believe either will work. There's an adapter to fit the 3000/60II replacement lcd screens to the original 60.

before anything, open it up.. disconnect all cables and ribbons and reseat them snug. try turning it on.. if it doesn't fix it.. try turning it on and off a few times.. it might start working again.

That happened to me on the mkii, and after reseating the problem went away.

Jibber your situation is not that bad.

But I would be very suprised to see an LCD pack up over night, have you been troubleshooting ?

If you need a screen I can hook you up.

If its an mk2 I got it

If its an Mk1 I can build it

Just let me know if you need a hand

If you are yet to troubleshoot

•Check cables
•Check f2, f3 and f4 on the psu (sometimes they can blow stopping the machine from booting)

And a good area to check is the sync board for failed components

Mpc stuff do not stock the bracket anymore

I've already taken the screen off and disconnected the cable and reseated it, but just the one cable going to the screen, will try the other suggestions tonight.

If it's really hopeless to get it working again i'll get in contact again.
