Elixir v4.01a for Akai MPC60

being that rohan disappeared off the face of the earth... perhaps this is him trying to pass himself and his product off as someone else...

but no matter what, this whole thing is sketchy as hell and i wouldn't buy this based on the seller's attitude & approach alone.

I can guarantee you 100% this is not Rohan. This software doesn't have a single screen, or feature that Vimana doesn't. Also, there are newer versions of Vimana, and even the latest was a work in progress.

I'm really having a moral dilemma over this, I feel like this software should be freeware. The fact that fools are profiting and taking credit is really weak. At the very least Rohan deserves the credit. That represents a lot of passion, time, and effort.

This software an hybrid that is somewhere between the 3.10 for MPC60 and the 3.50 for MPC3000. I told it.

I don't know what software you speak about for comparaison.
You can compare the Elixir to the 3.10 & the 3.50 , you will find the 3.10 + some feature of the 3.50.

Why do you speak about text edit?

There is a right and wrong way to go about interacting with the community if you wanna let your skills get the shine they deserve. Clearly, there is a better way for both of us to communicate.

You say you built your OS from 3.10, and 3.50. Just as Rohan did by building upon Akai's OS? The question is; can you take 3.10, or 3.50 farther than they've been taken before and turn it into yours? That's hip hop. That would be something we'd all love to see, and be happy to pay for.

Let's turn this negative vibe into a positive one, if you've got microprocessor programming skills, we have features we'd all pay for. We'd rather applaud you and help you than see you fail.

The Valixi is the 3.11 software + some features but 90% to 95% of the code is the 3.11.

No one have told rohan have stoled the 3.11 code.

I agree with you., let's speak positive.

I think what mpc users could benefit from is writing some new code to add features that everyone agrees would be useful. That could be done for the 3000, or the 60. I know from helping Rohan that are there limits to what the 60 can do because of its limited processing power, but there is room to improve.

I guess what I'm saying is, if you had some original code to add to this multi-layered code madness, that'd be better than just taking someone else's and claiming its yours.

Lots of people here would help you if your aim is to add, and not just take.
