Okay, here's the issue.
Today I was choppin up samples and as usual I save them to the ROOT on my internal HDD. However, about midway into saving some files, it started telling me that the samples I was trying to save were already on the HDD. So I stopped and went through my ROOT via LOAD to make sure they weren't duplicates. Turns out they were NOT dups and I tried renaming the file to see if that would work, but it kept doing the same thing every time.
So I decided to copy my samples, that did save, onto my external for back up - which worked fine. Now this is the kicker, when I check out whats on my 2500 via USB through my laptop it actually shows those files as being on my internal HDD - but when I disconnect the 2500 from the laptop - the 2500 will not show those same files as being anywhere on the internal HDD. So I can't pull them up to even mess with them at all - its like they aren't there, but they are .. . .
I was also able to keep selecting the REPLACE option and all of them did save - but they still don't show up through the LOAD option.
Anyways, I am using the original Akai OS and not the JJ if this makes any difference. Also After rebooting the 2500 I was able to create another folder off of the ROOT and save a sample just fine, but I tried to save it first on the ROOT alone and that didn't work (gave me the same error message).
So, If anyone could help that would be AWESOME!!! - this is messin up my flow and I want it to go back to the way it was before this issue started
