Bug reports & end-user support for Akai's MPC Software 'controllers' including the new MPC Studio 2, the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance & original MPC Studio and MPC StudioB lack.

Its kind of overkill when using it on to many individual tracks in 4/4 edm stuff. Sound becomes muffled and the transients are vanishing - I say use sparingly on individual tracks.

I can't seem to find the "Akai" folder. I see the "MPC" folder, however... But I open it up, and it's just the settings file and a crash log. Anyone know how I can find these plugins? I'm running OSX 10.8.4

The folder you are viewing is your User Library. Navigate to the Library folder on your Mac's HD.

I've got it now. I used the "go to folder" option. Thanks anyway. :smoker:

Watch Akai **** it up and block the paths and then implement a buggy version.

Is that definitely coming from these plugins?

Yes, in my experience it was. On a few projects I kept getting a crash when I tried to save. A couple of my projects got corrupted as well. Removing the emulation plugins allowed me to save those projects and I never had an issue since.

Lucky tou, mine is even crashing without any plugins loaded.
