Midi Note Selection?

Hello there,

I would like to ask you something. Sorry if it is too simple.

When I use my daw as Midi sequencer with the MPC, the programs allow me to select the notes are playing in the Midi Sequence (they moving when they playing). In this way, I can to change on the fly samples of my drum programs and create new ones.

When I use the internal sequencer it doesn't happen. It is normal? Or there is some way to be able to select the notes are playing in the sequence automatically?

i'll be honest.. i don't understand what you're asking here... please be more specific as to what you're trying to accomplish.

I believe he is asking how to edit midi data and only make some nortes play in same sequence.
to do this you can use pad mute, pad represents midi note.

english is not my language, sometimes is hard to me express myself. I will try to be a little more precise.

When I send notes from Cubase to the Midi Input of the MPC, (and I have a Drum program on the channel which I'm sending), I can see on the MPC (PROGRAM MODE, SAMPLE SECTION) the notes which are playing on the Cubase sequence. If I have a kick drum (C3) and a snare (D3) (for example) when the sequence play the kick (C3), the MPC selecting the corresponding midi note (C3), and when play the snare is doing the same. This way is to me, the better way to select new sounds and create new programs and listen different options on the fly.

Now I'm working with the MPC internal sequencer, and this not happen. I'm importing sequences created on my DAW, and I can not to create new programs on the fly to assign to them. I would like to know if there is an option to do that.

Of course you can not make a program while sequence is playing
just go to program window and change sample there, easy

Sorry should have said..... Make a blank drum program and use that, or even 5 blank ones but also have samples loaded to right, and as it plays sequence you can make new programs from those new blank one you made when it was stopped. get me??
So in effect you make as many as you want, and change you can change them as they play - change samples, filters, LFOs, Amp Envs ect as it plays

Just for ask, Have you tried to see what happen when you use it with a daw? the midi IN note is moving and the also the sample...

NO it won't do.

MPC doesn't do ANYTHING automatically... keep that in mind. everything has to be configured manually.
