There is a guy selling the Hollow sun sample CD's and some emu samples. Are they worth more than $40 for the lot.

My MPC came with samples in it that I never really use. Are those the same as the hollow sun ones?

Cheers,
Ian

Not sure but Hollow Sun has some dope retro sounds. Old vintage synth type stuff and vintage analog drum boxes.

The site and store are still running. Not sure if what's on offer currently is what you're being offered, but there's audio demos up there and they're good. I want to buy everything on the whole page.

I still like the old E-MU sounds with a little tweaking I think they're still relevant.

It is not from ebay. It was a guy down South that I found on adhuntr who used to work for Akai.
In any case I bought the stuff and some scsi drives and a boat load of emu samples.
I plan to see what is in there for use with my Z4.

A guy named Michael in Mississippi.

Yo it is midnight and I am still at WORK. BEEN here since 10:15 this morning.

Damn,

I bought the CP70, the Wurlitzer and the ARP Solina sounds from https://www.soundfontdownloads.com/ and converted them to S5000 format. They sound beautiful. Way below the 512 megabyte barrier, mostly up to four layers. Usable with a few twists.

If you don't mind to create your own programs, you also may like these:

In particular, I like the Elka Panther, the G101 and the Mellotron sounds most, but all offered instruments sound excellent!

A SF2 file of the Yamaha Diskklavier. Very nice sounding:
