even the E-MU SP12 and SP1200 had this feature back in the 80's... MPCs [with the exception of the 4000 apparently] unfortunately don't do it in real time, but you can change the swing and apply it to an existing track [just without getting to hear it first :( ]. i'd love to see this added to the MPC1000 and 2500.

It's true.

You just have to hit Stop after recording and then bounce into the Timing Correct window and everything after that is realtime.

I've no idea why Nukai dropped it because it's super useful. :hmmm:

Yes real time swing audition is one of my favorite MPC4000 features.
You can bet this feature request was put in for the MPC software since its inception.
All the best MPC4000 features (Portamento,Real time swing audition,Wait for key,Xfade loop) are put in as new MPC software feature requests.
But it's up to you guys to be the squeaky wheels to get attention to these features.

err maybe look at JJOSXL then cos it has realtime change of swing and shuffle. But not on to already written tracks, you have to use the TC page. but if your writing it out live you can change it in realtime and hear the difference. Oh its the in the Grid edit window only and uses Q-link sliders for values
