Well it's a MIDI port... hmmm if I had to speculate... it's so that we can lock MIDI on a certain track so that when we move away from it we can still keep playing it. For example we can be playing a bass part on one track and move to another track to make some changes while still playing the "MIDI locked" track. :lol:

It looks like it's in the "modes/view" section maybe it's another mode/view... like step edit? seriously could be...

Or, considering where it's placed (near pen and select), it could be related to automation, so it would be fair to assume we're dealing with proper automation :D

Unless yall had this 1.4 BEAST thats begging for fx automation; this time last year at Guitar Center when I chased it down like Lebron James vs an AKAI fast break layup.....................WE ALL BETA MONKEEZ!

My wishful thinking wants it to have something to do with having access to every MIDI port connected to my computer, instead of choosing just 4.

No, not an official beta tester, I haven't got the time. I have beta access, so when I'm working on a book I do report any issues I find along the way and I also add feature suggestions etc.

I haven't looked at your issue, I'm not really working in the Ren this week, have other things to deal with. I'll investigate it next time I'm working on the Ren.
