they're adding audio tracks.... that MIDI symbol will enable us to switch back and forth between audio and MIDI....
do I get a prize?!!!!

It's right next to "Step Seq" mode so thats why figure it has to be another "mode"
I'm saying it's step edit.

A MIDI symbol could represent editing the MIDI data directly which would be "step edit"

Never used it before, I could see it's usefulness though.

It's a major new feature that will please many forum members.....G14 classified at the moment outside of the wiki leak teaser. :lol:

Really Hope it is Step Edit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-D

Very main feature that is missing + work out the midi kinks ( would like to slave in MPC Ren standalone to ableton, just like when i had the 2500.)

I really hope it is Step Edit, that is a necessity.

Post 2 has is right about being able to lock a MIDI input to a track as well, that essentially makes the MPC usable for more than one person at a time which is key, this way bands can record simultaneously to separate tracks/vsti's.

Hoping it is midi sync when in standalone so I don't have to piss about with the overdub via the plugin

That is already in 1.4 unless I am misunderstanding you.
