Hi Ian,

did you also mess around with sysex strings for setting sample start and end points in the SAMPLE screen via the BCR?

As far as I know, the Behringer is only capable to have one variable inside a sysex string for changing parameters. Don't know whether this is enough to control the sample points. May have to check the MPC's sysex manual.

Basically, it would be great to transfer the functionality of foge1's touch screen control to the BCR.

I have not used sysex strings.
The only thing I have done is map the CC # to MPC destinations.
There are many things these two machines can do together.
I have not plugged the BCR into a laptop ecept for when I first got it to update the OS.

So if there is additional sysex functionality I do not know it. I read the entire manual by the way and maybe that part escaped me...but I do not recall the sysex stuff. I just don't know sysex other than the few times I have been in firends studios and on there DAW you see the code as you adjust parameters.

I forgot to mention or show in this video how to program the BCR. It is really easy but it takes a few steps. After doing this video I realized that another method that would be wonderful would be to assign knobs to different midi channels. So that you can control more than one channel at a time.

The BCR is a great addition. Makes live usage absolutely fierce, I'd imagine. TWO thumbs up.

Cheers,
Ian
