just bought a mpc 1000 and i know just about everything except this i would like to use this to make drum rolls i printed the manual long before i bought my mpc i cant find it maybe i don't know the terminology by the way im using jjosxl and free jjos 3.14.

16 LEVELS button would be the quickest way.

for drum rolls, perhaps hold down the TAP TEMPO button while pressing the snare pad... have fun experimenting.

Do you Need to assign the same sample to all pads? There is a Trick with the Shift button where you can edit all pads at once. In program mode.
