Anyone using a SP-404 w/Renaissance?

Im not but im one click away from really buying one.Since i cant control any effects on the Ren during my live set,im thinkin gbout gettin a SP-404sx to add to my live setting.I think this would be a great combo! I can play a sample on the 404 and do live drums on the Ren plus trigger the dope effects on the 404 at the same time.I hear the 404 has really dope compression.Like i said im on the edge of buying one right now (389.00 brand new) but i wanted to see if anyone here has this combo.

i do, and use it with my ren or my maschine.. but in a different way.. (not in a live setting exactly..)

i sample through it, resample with it, then send to my ren. after im done making a beat with the ren ill maybe record the beat through the sp and do fx live

i've never midi'd them up though

That sounds really dope! I guess the 404 might be worth the purchase than.Have u put the SP compression on drums?

Yea I def like the compressor , use it on dusty bass samples too

Bout to drop the bomb and buy it!

They had used ones for $300 (looked banged up) and $370.I found a brand new for $389! Not bad if you ask me.Already bought it! will be here next week.

decent price if u ask me. i like the 404 a lot though

are you talking about the regular SP-404 or the SP-404SX?

i know the "compression" thing is about the OG 404 i think.. but i like the SP fx regardless and yea including the compressor on it
