So, the REN had been out a while now ... What's your verdict

Just curious really ... ?

I recall all of the fuss and excitement about these units before launch and there was some interested statements made about what these new products would do.

How have you all found your new devices ?

State what you have and if running 32 or 64 bits.

My verdict: it's the bomb.

My opinion has completely changed since 1.0–1.3, which crashed way too much for me to enjoy using the device.
1.4 finally made it so much better and I definitely recommend it to anyone.

Can't wait for 1.5 and everything that's coming...this shit's getting iller with every update.

I'm loving my Ren now too. 1.4 had made my workflow extremely faster and I can get ideas out my head and sequenced as fast as I could when using hardware MPC's. from 1.5 forward will be gravy and fine tuning from here... Still got a few crashes here and there, but then again so do I when I use Logic and Pro Tools...

I had the MPC 60 and the 5000...

Things I like are the super fast loading times, you can zip from one project to the next will every nuance saved...

The flaw is it STILL crashes with using 3rd party plugins
