1) Join the MPC-Forums.com Beat Battles Group on SoundCloud: MPC-Forums.com Beat Battles
2) Upload the beat to your own Soundcloud page
3) Make sure it includes the battle number in the title - i.e. MPCBB#39. If it doesn't we might think it's a random spam and delete it
4) Share the beat with the forum group via the 'share to group' button
5) Outside anything allowed (drums, bass, synths, samples, vocals, etc.). Use whatever you see fit
6) Choose only one of the two samples. Don’t use both
7) The sample you choose has to be the “foundation” of the beat

• The first sample is a 1969 cover by Roberta Flack of a song in Spanish called Angelitos Negros (Little Black Angels). You can download it here
https://www.dropbox.com/s/bmeyg1vqoug1w ... Negros.wav

• I don’t know what the second sample is called. I just know it from a graffiti video on Youtube. You can download it here
https://www.dropbox.com/s/3h65jg23zqwo6 ... 202012.wav

DEADLINE: 23RD JULY (cheers Mr Perrin)

Both samples seem nice. 1st one had quite some backround noise. 2nd one had quite some distortion going on. Not that it mather, just my first thoughts. I'm sure we will get some nice flips from these though!

EDIT: dropbox worked like a sharm!

true the first sample has analog noise (1969 recording), but it shouldnt be a bother
the second sample has some distortion but nothin extreme.
overall the sound quality of both samples is good.
im glad dropbox worked well!

I haven't done anything wrong, I don't understand, I made a dope beat and uploaded it to your group but without succes, very frustrating :Sigh:

It won't show until battle day, it is there I can see it, all tracks have to be cleared by a Mod, because of spam. Don't keep trying to share though, your get blocked.

Nice samples, and in wav format to boot!
Am I the only one here that likes noisy samples?
Gimme the dirty record with scratches.
