Going to my first Record Fair today [Any suggestions/tips?]

this is a cool thread... heading down to a big record fair today

got up nice and early for it, one of the advantages of staying sober

the best thing I got was a connection.

met this dude who travels through eastern europe/russia digging for synth/break records and sells them here. got a couple records from him and plan to meet with him in the new year when he returns from another trip.


For the records I bought... can't say much

i'm one of those uppity sample purists producer

Too many hiphop happy hipsters selling records for outrages prices. Look for the old dudes.

And don't forget a small tube of vaseline. You never know when you need to jerk off from a set of tits the seller's sister had.

Good to see this still alive, haven't had the financial means to hit more fairs but will definitely take the tips here and apply them.
