whats up everyone im new to this forum so take it easy on me if im not posting this in the right spot. i have a problem hopefully you guys can help me solve it.
i have the mpc 2500 and im running the free version of jjos . now i made some beats on this version. and i decided to try out jjosxl demo. to see if thats what i want. but when i load projects made in the free jjos none of my samples loop properly there is always a gap at the end of my loop sequence now when i switched to the jjos1 demo
i don't have the problem it's only doing it in osxl and os3 not sure if it does it in os2 since for some reason it wont show up on my memory card so i cant install that one to test it out but i knw for sure osxl won't loop my tracks on point without a gap at the end of the sequence. is there a sitting or something to fix the problem. or would i have to keep switching back in fort from os to os? thanks . yeah, BTW samples should be fine, trim loop points etc. There must be problem in program like crossings said. Maybe check amp ADSR settings (release) as free and OS1 have an AD amp evelope.

There's a difference in AMP envelope between freeos and osxl. Maybe check out AMP tab and set up zero release to samples, it's default as 20 so it might fade out one shots. Second thing is in OTHER mode there is truncate sequence lenght setting, maybe set it up to: AS PLAYED.

Hi,

Maybe the sample is set to "LOOP ON" in "Trim" ? Turn it OFF and see if it works.

When i am done trimming a sample, i always make sure i set it back to "LOOP OFF" before leaving the "TRIM" page. Then i go straight to the AMP tab and set the sample's release to 0.

Also, it is recommended you run the latest stable version of your OS (currently 3.34), especially when you are troubleshooting.

Hope this helps 8)
