Saving Mixer settings to a sequence on the MPC 1000

Hi, just joined the forums and have been looking for an answer to this question but have not yet found one.
I dont seem to be able to save the mixer settings of any sequence in either ALLSEQandSONG mode and definately not to an individual sequence. I have phoned AKai and they said it was not their job to tell me. I have read the manual and it is very sketchy on this subject to say the least. Also when i attempt to convert a song to a sequence it works for about half the sequence and then seems to randomly apply the Midi data to various pads on various tracks. Any help would be very much appreciated. I even paid for a lesson with a seasoned MPC2000 user who couldnt help either which was annoying. Is it not possible? I hope it is because i use the MPC for live performance and do not have time to re-program the mixer settings every time. Thanks for reading, Hugo

Mixer settings seem to work fine when I save the ALL files. Effects, on the other hand, I've got to figure this one out still.

Thanks for the reply, i havnt been able to save the effects either, again Akai tech support had no idea and the manual says little.

I did write a little about this at http://stereoroid.com/sounds/mpc1000/faq.php#fx01 , short version is: FX settings like FX type and parameters are "global", you can only have one set loaded (only 1 FX processor). So they go in the .ALL file, but the FX Send settings can be different for each Program, so that's where they're saved.

I go away for 10 days and people forget me, eh?
