Please help how do i hook my usb m audio m track to mpc 1000

i currently have the mpc 1000 manual but there are only pictures and no explanation on how to hook up and the manual is 7 years old so it doesnt help me that much thank you guys for your time.

To send audio out of the MPC1000 and into the M-Track, plug the left and right stereo outputs from MPC1000 into line inputs 1 and 2 on the M-Track.

If you want to use MIDI for synchronizing the MPC1000 sequencer to your computer software, plug a MIDI cable between the M-Track MIDI out and the MPC1000 MIDI in.

If you want to use MIDI to play sounds in your computer software from the MPC1000, plug a MIDI cable between the MPC1000 MIDI out and the M-Track MIDI in.


You really don't need a manual, plug the output of one thing into the input of another thing, that is all there is to it.

The M-track only has Main Outs and the manual says those mains are for studio monitors. So I'm a little confused on how this works. I want my beats from my mpc to record into fruity loops.
