I wanted to know the process behind this as well since I might get rid of my Ren. Things would be a whole better if Akai didn't limit installs to 4 and instead make it unlimited like NI does with Maschine.

Just email Akai support and tell them you need to have your registrations reset so that you can sell it. They will probably ask for your serial number etc and that should be it.
