MPC 2000 XL SCSI Drive

Hi..........I just bought an MPC2000XL Studio Version.........I know how to use a MPC 2000 very well (5 yrs).....I assumed that by attaching an External SCSI Drive to the SCSI output on the back of the MPC and following the directions in the manual....format to certain SCSI ID drive.....etc.........will allow for my MPC to read my SCSI disks.........However.........a pop-up continues to occur stating:
"NO SCSI Device".....I don't understand........why it's showing that error.....
If anyone could give me some input or suggestions......HOlla at ya girl.......ASAP........'cause I can't "ROC" without my sounds.
Oh._I'm using a Iomega ZIP Drive 250MB

Have you looked at the Zip FAQ in the FAQ section of this site? This will give you all the possible problems
