Will the tilt screen mechanism eventually loose?

Hello,

I was wondering have any of you hardcore 2500 users noticed that the tilt screen mechanism has stopped working during years of use, or loosen drastically?

If it has, can the mechanism be replaced somehow?

Mine is OK, just asking these questions to my boredom.

I don't believe this is a known issue, the mechanism is very robust, doesn't seem like it could fail.

Regardless, pretty sure you could get the relevant parts if required.

no problems here, even after years of usage.

in fact the mpc and my macbook pro are the only devices that have no hinge problems whatsoever, not like so many plastic laptops which always flex and break.
