How to format smart card with vailixi 3.50

Hi, I've just installed the vailixi 3.50 in my mpc 3000 that is connected with an external card reader.

Wich is the best way to format a smart card?

I see there's few option..

My goal is to be able to have 1 giga of sounds in the card with no partitions, put the card in the card reader and load from the mpc the stuff that I like from the card..!

Is it possible?

you are not going to get a great amount of answers off people on here as you are clearly using a hacked copy of 3.5OS

short answer is - No.

partitions of a max 28/30ish meg is all you are gonna get.

max space you can format on ANY card is 780 meg IN a load of 28ish meg partitions.

pick hybrid partitions when formatting with 3.5os - that way your partitions can be seen on a computer (if you use a good quality US CF reader with the computer).

make sure to have multi sector off in scsi options

hard level option.

Heads up warning:

If using hybrid partitions in Vailixi with a plan to then put that CF card into your computer, just remember to keep all your naming to 8 characters or under.

Your PC or Mac will automatically truncate all files to 8 characters as soon as you access the partitions on your card!

When you then stick that card back into your 3000 you'll find that all files that were over 8 chars are now corrupt.

The guy that sold the mpc to me included the vailixi in the package..

..is an option that appeard after I've installed the vailixi 3.50 upgrade..
