Hi, I'm a Novice MPC user and just wanted a little help with this:

The beat I'm playing as im recording is different to the one that's played back to me, and I'm wondering if there was any way to resolve this

Turn quantise/timing correction off.

Its the timing of each sound, not the sounds themselves

If you are inexperienced, you may need to learn to play in time with the click.
Takes a little practice.

Thank you, i'll try this

When you do this, it's gonna show how incredibly great your human timing is or how extra under ordinarily mediocre your timing is. Just know, that, it's on you when you record with unleashed, no holds barred, all bets are off time correction.
