Question about installing Plugins...

Hello, I installed the Spectrasonic plugin Trilogy, I was prompted to create a folder. A DAT file was placed in a folder I created on my desktop during installation, all the other files went to a default program folder.

Now when I placed the DAT file in the Spectrasonic folder , the Ren says it can't find it , the plugin loads but there are no sounds.

So for this plugin to work I had to place it BACK on the desktop.

I really want to get this file off my desktop but I've used the plugin on a few projects...

Is there a work around and how much attention do I need to pay when it comes to the installation process? It seems these Plugins/VST install all over the place, some files end up in programs, some files in documents, etc

You need to pay close attention when installing spectrasonics plugins bruh. It asks where to install the data. There is a tool to move the data file after the fact if I remember correctly but that's all I remember. Once it's installed you can't move the data file without the tool or reinstalling it.
