1. Try to control your speed/tempo better.

2. Sometimes you lose yourself within a breakdown and are offbeat.

Hey muver,
Welcome to the world of Finger Drumming :) I am no expert, but I think you are off to a great start. Using all single shot samples like you are doing is a great way to build chops and get the rhythms down. In addition to Lampdog's fine advice, I'd say the following:

() Practice a bit with a click track, or playing along to a song you know well at a similar tempo. As annoying as click tracks are, they help to get a good feel for keeping a steady tempo.

() Not sure if you have Full Level activated on the MPC, but it looks like you are hitting the pads kinda hard. For faster fills, it may help to hit a bit softer and save that energy for finer movements. If you are intending to play the pads at full volume anyway, it may make sense to activate Full Level.

() Most importantly, have fun :)

During my limited time doing this, I've noticed that there are a lot of "self proclaimed legends" in Finger Drumming that claim to be the "best'. When it comes to art, there is no "best". You did the right thing coming here for tips :) Looking forward to seeing your next video!
