iMPC for iPhone

I'm happy about this(!), although it is a separate app from the original. ($3.00)

I think it may become favored in my use (once I have an Apple iPhone or iPod that can run it) for simply listening and sampling and sampling scratches. I'd like to see more MPC features and functionality in the iPad, in both versions, but especially in the iPad version as they are separate apps and right now, it doesn't have enough MPC-ness.

The iPhone, I think, can be limited in its features and still be great.

For 2 quid it's not bad at all really. The sounds are workable even though they've left a few pops and clicks on some of them.

1500 sounds though?! I'm guessing they are MP3 files because the download was only around 40MB.

i havent checked out yet. dont think it will tickle my fancy much but i have to check it out.

I suppose it's the convenience for me, which has a lot to do with the size of iPod/iPhone over the app itself. What I like about it is, the app allows you to easily navigate and quickly sample.

It doesn't allow easy song creation, as it only has 4 tracks and more limitations than is suited for its name. I've never used an MPC. (Familiar with Octatrack, Microsampler, SP303)

I would much rather use another sampler to create.

No chopping and files are only compatible with the Ren or Studio. Otherwise it would be a nice sketchbook for $3.

The iMPC for iPad exports files to WAV? This is really bad, if it can't do that.

Anyone thought that an mpc fly mini should be released for the iphone. Maybe kinda like the studio with a dock at the top giving you a tilted screen sort of thing.
I really like both apps. Nice to hsve a challange especially considering its limitations.
