Mute Groups Not Working?

Am I missing something here? On the 5000 when I put 2 pads in the same mute group they are not cutting each other off. It doesn't do anything. The pads keep playing. Is this a bug in 2.0 or something?

On the 2500, you just assign the same pads to a mute group and they all cut each other off from then on. What gives on the 5000?

I dont have this problem... Explain in steps how you put them into mute groups..

ie ..

1 press mode then press pad 11 .....
2 press f4 to go to etc...

I guess it actually works. But you can't have a blank pad cut off another one that has a sound, which is what I was trying to do. Totally lame that you can't do that.

Why not put an empty sample on the spot where you have a blank pad...?
