I really want to record vocals using my sampler but I need a good user friendly DAW besides Fruity Loops(Looks to kiddy for me). Are there any good trial versions or free ones I can use today to try out? I have an M Audio USB mic but the latency recording vocals on my MPC is horrible and the lowest I can go is 960 without cracking or popping.

FL Studio has a downloadable demo from their site. I would try it out before you condemn it as "looking too kiddy", it's used by a lot of established producers.

Reaper is great, and worth the reasonable $60 licensing fee.

FL Studio is not free but also not expensive, Hierophant/Fool is totally correct in how powerful it is, and it's extremely easy to use.

Zynewave's Podium is still totally free, although I think you need to register an account on their site to unlock the demo.

I forgot about Podium, it's actually a very good DAW

Yeah when it first came out I used to get it and Reaper confused for a month or two as CM UK gave away both right on the cover mount discs.
