Bit of a confusing issue has popped up with my mpc 2000xl recently; it recognizes the cf card full of drum sounds (.wav files) and loads them, but when I save all programs & sounds (either as sounds or as .wavs) it acts as if it's scanning and saving and then when i switch the machine on and off the sounds are gone. I even bought a new card to make sure as the old one was giving a "card reader error" message when i tried saving sounds recently and today no error message given it looked like it worked but nothing was saved again. If anyone can help much appreciated, I don't post often but I do read this forum for insight on the regular.
