im still picking out a 2nd synth module, whats the sonic cell like?

Tx for the compliment...:)

I use the Sonic Cell mainly for the more realistic sounds like orchestral or coppers.
For the rest it all depends on what you are still missing or want to add to your whole setup.

Thanks! Really like the PT-01 too. I'm moving to London in a few months and don't want to take the all gear with me. That's why I'm trying out minimal set-ups.
Why are you locked at home??

how is that op1??? ive been wondering about that thing, it looks cool, can you chop samples with it? i know its a whole different workflow then a mp, and i like that :)
By philphil Wed Aug 07, 2013 9:35 am
Hi Inflict3, I'm still doodling around with it. I would say that chopping samples is not as straight forward as it is on the mp but it pushes you to find new workflows. Just like with all the other functions (sequencers, synth engines, 4-track recorder). One thing I want to add is that the interface is so much fun.. the display is awesome and the unit is solid... and 16 hours battery life!
Anyway this is not the OP-1 thread so I shouldn't go on and on. All I'll say is that it's a very refreshing piece of hardware which goes hand in hand with the type of music I'm currently producing. Can't wait to post something worth listening :)
