MPC 2000XL - Play chop to end of sample

Hi all,

I have a little question, that I couldnt figured it out on the MPC2000XL.
Is it possible to, lets say if you have a drumbreak thats 2 bars (8 chops), to play for example the second chop to the end of the drumbreak/sample ?

In short, Im searching for the same function in Fruity Loops - Fruity Slicer VST- Play to End option. ( Play to End - When enabled, each slice plays to the end of the loop.)

Can I do this on the MPC with zones ? Or do I have to copy my drumbreak 8 times and let them start at different startpoints ?

Please, no one with any ideas or tips ?

if you already chopped the sample into 8 phrases, those 8 phrases are the length you chopped them into.
i'd say you are gonna have to copy the sample 8 times and adjust each samples start point.

copy my drumbreak 8 times and treat them as 8 samples.

Easiest way to do it would be to scroll the start to your desired point then extract as new sample.
This would create a new sample each time that went from the current point to the end of the sample.

Quick fast and done.
